WHAT ARE CELS?

An animation cel, short for animation celluloid, is a transparent sheet on which objects were drawn or painted for traditional, hand-drawn animation.

Every frame of your favorite cartoons were made up of individual animation cels that contained characters and other elements of the scene.

They contain the original hand-drawn art from the animators of your favorite cartoons.

WHY IT'S NOT EXPENSIVE?

It's simple - we want everyone to be able to have a piece of history without breaking the bank.

Traditionally, there have been very few sketches available for purchase to the public. This has made

the price of sketches inflated, making it difficult for everyone to have their own one of a kind sketch.

We're launching Animation Legends with very low prices, but they will increase with time. Grab them while they're cheap!

HOW DO WE GRADE THE ARTWORK?

The graded cel visibly shows 80% - 100% of the main character. Note: An A grade does not always guarantee a scene with the main character. However, it may include scenes with the character in frame

The graded cel visibly shows less than 80% of a character

The grade cel might include parts of a character but these cels mainly include scenery or other aspects of the show.

I wish I could share all my photos! I didn't take one of all of them together yet but plan on framing them all in on large frame! I NEVER thought I would be able to own a piece of my FAVORITE film as a child! I adore this film and it's sequel very much and without Animation Legends this would NOT be possible! If you love animation or a specific film I would HIGHLY suggest grabbing at the least a 5 pack of cels because NOTHING beats being able to physically hold a hand drawn/painted frame of your favorite film! Fantastic cels as always. Each one is a clean close up of the characters from each film, most being from Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue. My favorite are those I got of Toaster. Kind of wish the ones I got of Radio were not from the same sequence but glad I got at least one cell of most of the main characters. Need Lampy now but not too sure if I will get another set just yet (too many side characters making chances of Lampy a bit more difficult)
